Following the sell-out success of Portrait of Britain last year, Portrait of
Humanity brings together 200 of the best images taken by photographers of
all levels from all over the world, selected from tens of thousands of entries.
The publication supports a global touring exhibition which will visit
Nigeria, Australia, USA and many more places, bringing global exposure to
the book. The award and exhibition is organised by 1854 media (British
Journal of Photography) and Magnum Photos and the images in the
publication are accompanied by short, telling stories from each
photographer, bringing home the humanity of those photographed.
